Welcome  mate (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates https://welcomemate.co.site/ (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our Service. Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the Service.

We may collect the following types of information:

  – I use login with Google (OAuth), and Apple ID for sign in. 

We collect this information when you voluntarily provide it to us, when you use our Service, or through automated technologies.

This policy complies with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), as
well as GDPR and CCPA where applicable.

AI Disclosure: Mate chat is an AI assistant powered by third-party Large Language Models (e.g. OpenAI).
AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date and are NOT legal, migration, financial or
professional advice. Always verify critical information with official sources such as Department of Home
Affairs (homeaffairs.gov.au).

1. Information We Collect
   Account Data: Name, email address, and identifier when you sign in with Apple ID or Google OAuth.
   Chat Content: Messages you send to Mate and AI responses.
   Location (optional): Approximate city/region if you allow, to recommend local professionals in My Kit.
   Purchases: Subscription status, product IDs, renewal status processed by Apple App Store, Google Play
   and RevenueCat. We do NOT store credit cards.
   Device & Usage: Device model, OS, language, crash logs via Firebase.
   Advertising: Advertising ID via Google AdMob for free users. Premium users see no ads.

2. How We Use Your Information
   Provide and operate the app and My Kit, generate AI chat responses, manage subscriptions and restore
   purchases, personalize recommendations, analytics, customer support, comply with legal obligations and
   prevent fraud.
3. How We Share Your Information
   We do not sell your personal information. We share only with: Apple App Store & Google Play (billing),
   RevenueCat (subscription management), Firebase (analytics/crash/auth), AI Provider (e.g. OpenAI) to
   generate chat responses, Google AdMob to display ads to free users, and when required by law.
4. Data Retention & Security
   Chat history kept until you delete it or delete your account. Account data deleted within 30 days of deletion
   request. Purchase receipts retained up to 7 years. We use industry-standard measures but no method is
   100% secure. Contact welcomemateapp@gmail.com to delete your data.

CalOPPA Compliance
In accordance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), we agree to the following:

• Users can visit our site anonymously.
• Our Privacy Policy link includes the word “Privacy” and can be easily found on our home page.
• Users will be notified of any privacy policy changes on this Privacy Policy page.
• Users can change their personal information by contacting us at welcomemateapp@gmail.com.
• We honor Do Not Track signals and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track
• (DNT) browser mechanism is in place.
